Wow is all I can say about this book. It is a story well told and the way that it is played out is phenomenal. Talk about redemption. This book is a major page turner and from what I’ve heard may be made into a movie. In my opinion it is worthy. This book gave me that Jackie Collins nostalgia (she in one of my favorite writers).

Amber is the antagonist and she is indescribable. Very cunning with her prey, she doesn’t miss a beat. At least that is what she thinks. When starting the book you kind of already know she is up to no good. She’s too perfect. Everything about her resonates with Daphne (Mrs. Parrish). Amber makes sure to find the things that Daphne cares about and she hits the nail on the head just about everytime.

Daphne desparately wants to have a real friend outside of her socialite crew. She is immediately taken with Amber because she seems to be a plain Jane and they seem to have so much in common. This was her weakness and Amber pounced on it. But little does she know, Daphne is not as naive as she appears. This is when things get REALLY interesting. Oh and the husband; WOW! You just have to read it, but he is a real peice of work.

This book is powerful in a sense that it gets you engrossed in one POV and then switches to another and leaves you blown away. It is provocative and intense all the way through. When you think you know what is going on or what is going to happen, this duo of wonderful writers take you to a whole new level.

Liv Constantine is actually two sisters who spun this amazing fiction novel like a spider web. It grabs you and keeps you; with lies, deceit, sex and much more. This book left me looking for more but unfortunately this is their debut album. If there is a movie made from this novel I will be there.

Amber Patterson is fed up. She’s tired of being a nobody: a plain, invisible woman who blends into the background. She deserves more—a life of money and power like the one blond-haired, blue-eyed goddess Daphne Parrish takes for granted.

To everyone in the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, Daphne—a socialite and philanthropist—and her real-estate mogul husband, Jackson, are a couple straight out of a fairy tale.

Amber’s envy could eat her alive . . . if she didn’t have a plan. Amber uses Daphne’s compassion and caring to insinuate herself into the family’s life—the first step in a meticulous scheme to undermine her. Before long, Amber is Daphne’s closest confidante, traveling to Europe with the Parrishes and their lovely young daughters, and growing closer to Jackson. But a skeleton from her past may undermine everything that Amber has worked towards, and if it is discovered, her well-laid plan may fall to pieces.

With shocking turns and dark secrets that will keep you guessing until the very end, The Last Mrs. Parrish is a fresh, juicy, and utterly addictive thriller from a diabolically imaginative talent.
